Signs Of Spring

Galleria Dallas
Style Shout Out to the signs of Spring.

This weekend we went to the Galleria Dallas to pick up our daughter's communion dress that was being altered at Nordstrom.  I love Nordstrom for their great selection of designers and merchandise but above all else I love them for their customer service.  It's not often you find a major retailer who will alter a garment that was purchased somewhere else, charge you less than your local tailor, and have it ready before the scheduled pick up date.  I have great admiration for companies that under promise and over deliver, and the Nordstrom at the Galleria Dallas does just that.

Alex from Nordstrom
It was a perfect weekend to be at the Galleria because they were hosting a Beauty Live event with presentations from Spring make up looks and makeovers courtesy of Nordstrom to Saks showcasing the latest in Bridal trends.  The event definitely put me in the mood for Spring and got me thinking about a few of my favorite Spring Things.

First of all nothing screams Spring like a great pair of espadrilles and I love my Alex by Stuart Weitzman.  My 8 year old thinks I have fabulous taste in shoes since she has seen Jennifer Aniston wearing the same shoes.   These espadrilles are so versatile and look fabulous with everything from dresses to shorts to cropped khakis.

Oliver Peoples Isobel
Ippolita Bangles
Everyone needs a great pair of sunglasses and I absolutely love my classic Ray Ban aviators and my Oliver Peoples Isobel which are a glamourous frame that reminds me of Jackie O.  I love how both glasses give me a different look and it is fun to change things up especially this time of year.

For me, fun bracelets also say Spring and while living in Texas I see turquoise and sterling everywhere, I have to admit that I have never been a huge fan of that look until I stumbled upon Ippolita's bangles.  As with everything she makes these bangles are excellent quality and the clank of a few bangles dangling from my wrist always reminds me of warmer weather and the beach.

Chan Luu Wrap Bracelet - Nordstrom
And if bangles aren't your thing Chan Luu makes the most adorable leather and stone wrap bracelets.  My sister first told me about these and she loves them especially for work because they don't clank in the middle of a meeting.  I have a soft spot for Chan Luu's wrap bracelets not only because they are stylish and so comfortable to wear even in the warm weather, but also because of the quality.

So these are just a few of my favorite things,  today find some fun fashion that will remind you of your own signs of Spring!
